Summary:
American standard butterfly valve uses 3D eccentric oblique conical valve seat seal. Butterfly plate seal is made of new metal sheet and elastic
material, which is embedded on butterfly plate and matched with valve seat. The sealing surface is tightly sealed by means of butterfly plate swing
pressure, so the friction resistance of the sealing surface is small. When closed, the sealing performance is reliable. When opened, the sealing
surface is completely out of contact, so that the sealing surface is not damaged. American standard butterfly valve structure features exclude other
types of butterfly valve opening position and can not seal the shortcomings, and can be used normally in high pressure, overcome other types of
valves in high temperature due to thermal expansion and easy leakage shortcomings.
